Renowned Hindi writer Malti Joshi, who received the Padma Shri in 2018, passed away at 90 after battling esophagus cancer. She was known for works like Kokh Ka Darp, Outsider, Aastha Ke Aayam, and Problem Child. Her story 'Culture' was filmed by Gulzar for the TV serial Kirdaar.
