Rs 5 bribe lands Gujarat computer operator behind bars

Navinchandra Nakum, a computer operator from Morkanda village in Jamnagar, was arrested for taking a Rs 5 bribe to issue government revenue documents to farmers in Gujarat. The case highlights pervasive corruption at even the lowest levels involving a village computer entrepreneur. The arrest followed a sting operation, and Nakum is now under investigation under the Prevention of Corruption Act.
