Close shave for 179 on board as Air India Express aircraft catches fire

An Air India Express plane, IX-1132, flying from Pune to Kochi faced a fire scare after taking off from Bengaluru stopover, leading to an emergency evacuation of 179 passengers. The incident stranded passengers in the Karnataka capital for nearly 13 hours with six crew members on board. This marked Air India's second recent fire scare.
