Uttarakhand: Forest fires inch closer to Ranikhet golf course & military hospital, doused

Forest fires reached dangerously close to Army golf course and firing range as well as the Military Hospital in Ranikhet on Sunday. Quick action by army personnel and firefighters averted significant damage. Around 130 Army personnel were engaged in battling the blaze along with local fire fighting teams for several hours.
