Amid 45.5°C heat in Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat cyclist, 71, on pilgrimage dies

Mahendra Singh Parmar, a retired water bottling plant supervisor from Surat, found dead in Guna during his Jyotirlingas pilgrimage from Bhavnagar. Parmar, who completed the Narmada Parikrama on foot, aimed to pedal to 12 Jyotirlingas. Autopsy revealed a fatal heart attack. His family arrived at the hospital.
