Former AAP leader Jagbir Brar joined BJP, his fifth party in over 13 years, after being in SAD and AAP previously. He was inducted by Tarun Chugh and K D Bhandari, leaving Shiromani Akali Dal for BJP. Brar's cousin, Manpreet Badal, also in BJP, influenced his political shifts through PPP and Congress.
