Now, English not mandatory for Standard XI, XII

Starting from the new academic year, students in Pune will no longer have English as a compulsory subject for Std XI and XII. They can now choose two languages, one Indian and one from a variety of Indian and foreign languages, as per the State Curriculum Framework released by SCERT.
