BJP moves SC against Calcutta high court's order barring 'derogatory' ads on TMC

The BJP approached the Supreme Court on Friday to challenge the Calcutta high court's order prohibiting 'derogatory' advertisements targeting the Trinamool Congress (TMC) during the Lok Sabha election process, which were deemed to violate the Model Code of Conduct. Advocate Saurabh Mishra informed the bench about the division bench's order from May 22.
