Trying to get consulate in coming year: US Ambassador
Friday, 24 May 2024 US Ambassador Eric Garcetti reaffirmed the commitment to establish a US consulate in Bengaluru within the next year during a conference on US-India Space Cooperation. The decision to open a consulate in Bengaluru was made during Prime Minister Modi's visit to the US in 2023, with plans to open two new consulates in India.
