Haryana and Punjab are in the grip of intense heat wave conditions with Mahendragarh recording the highest temperature of 47 degrees Celsius. Various cities like Rohtak, Hisar, Ambala, Karnal, Sirsa, Gurugram, Chandigarh, Amritsar, Ludhiana, Patiala, Pathankot, Bathinda, Faridkot, and Gurdaspur are experiencing high temperatures, as per the Meteorological Department.
