Centre promotes 11 ED officials to joint director rank

The Centre promoted 11 officials from the Enforcement Directorate to joint director rank. The Department of Revenue under the Union finance ministry issued the order, elevating officers from deputy director to JD. IRS officers also occupy JD positions in the ED. Historically, cadre officers have been promoted to the JD post, but typically one or two at a time. This trend marks a notable shift.
