PM Narendra Modi offered prayers to the Sun God from Vivekananda Rock at sunrise on Friday. A short video clip posted by BJP on its 'X' handle, titled 'Sunrise, Surya Arghya, Spirituality,' showed the PM performing rituals. He poured water from a traditional small vessel into the sea as an offering (Arghya) and prayed with prayer beads (a rudraksh mala) in his hands.
