Ex-director of Ego media denied anticipatory bail in Ghatkopar hoarding collapse case

IndiaTimes Saturday, 1 June 2024
The Mumbai Sessions Court on Friday dismissed the anticipatory bail plea filed by Jhanvi Marathe, former director of Ego Media, in the Ghatkopar hoarding collapse case that killed 17 people. Marathe, declared absconding, had moved court for relief from arrest. Mumbai Police Crime Branch opposed her bail plea as the hoarding paperwork was done during her tenure. An engineer providing stability certificate was also arrested by the investigating team.
