The ongoing heatwave is posing a great threat to hatchlings of turtle species in Pilibhit as they journey from hatching spots to water bodies. Director of TSA, Sahilendra Singh, expressed his concerns about the impact on turtle eggs due to the scorching soil surface near rivers and reservoirs. Pilibhit is home to 13 turtle species
