Left parties improve performance, leading on 8-10 seats: EC trends

In the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Left parties showed slight improvement, leading in 8-10 seats. The CPI(M) was ahead in five seats, including surprises in Rajasthan and Tamil Nadu. CPI led in two Tamil Nadu seats, while CPI-ML was ahead in two of three contested seats in Bihar. Overall, Left parties' vote shares surpassed their 2019 figures by noon.
