Pune Porsche crash: Juvenile Justice Board extends observation home remand of accused minor
Wednesday, 5 June 2024 The Juvenile Justice Board on Wednesday extended the remand of the minor involved in the Pune car crash until June 12. The parents of the accused minor, hospital personnel, and the juvenile's grandfather are in police custody for manipulating blood samples. Arrests were made for acting as intermediaries and facilitating financial transactions.
Police took his custody from the jail where he was lodged in judicial custody, and produced him before a court which remanded him in fresh police custody for two.. DNA
A tragic incident in Pune has left two people dead after a 17-year-old, speeding in a Porsche, collided with a motorbike. CCTV footage revealed the car was travelling well above the posted speed limits before the collision, which resulted in the deaths of two IT professionals from Madhya Pradesh, Aneesh Awadhiya and Ashwini Koshta. Witnesses reported that Ashwini was thrown 20 feet into the air, while Aneesh was flung into a parked car. The young driver had reportedly been drinking at a pub to celebrate his Class 12 results just hours before the crash and was driving at an estimated speed of 200 km/h.
