N Chandrababu Naidu’s TDP secured 16 out of Andhra Pradesh’s 25 Lok Sabha seats, providing the NDA the necessary boost to achieve a majority. The party is now set to join the BJP-led government at the Centre, marking a return after six years. The TDP had initially exited the Modi ministry due to the issue of special-category status for the state.
