RSS stands by Fadnavis, wants him to steer govt till Maharashtra poll

One day after Maharashtra deputy chief minister Devendra Fadnavis offered to resign, taking moral responsibility for the BJP's electoral defeat in the state, several RSS office-bearers visited his residence in Nagpur. A closed-door meeting took place at his home and lasted nearly two hours. Top sources from the Sangh confirmed the gathering at Fadnavis' residence on Thursday but mentioned it was merely a courtesy visit.
