CID officer injured in ambush on Manipur CM’s advance convoy
Monday, 10 June 2024 A CID officer and a driver were shot in an ambush on Manipur CM N Biren Singh's convoy in Kangpokpi district. The attack occurred before Singh's visit to Jiribam, dealing with ethnic violence and arson. The wounded officer, Moirangthem Ajesh (28), and his driver colleague were hospitalised in Imphal.
