Guj HC fines woman 25k for posting ex-roommate’s washroom photos on Insta

Gujarat HC fined a woman Rs 25,000 for creating a fake social media ID to sabotage her former hostel roommate's engagement. The victim's father filed an FIR after an Instagram ID posted her photos, suspecting a classmate. The offender faced charges under sections 507 of IPC and 66(c) of IT Act. The court allowed the settlement of the dispute.
