'Huge responsibility': Suresh Gopi, BJP's lone Kerala MP, takes ministerial charges

Malayalam actor-turned-politician Suresh Gopi, the BJP's only MP from Kerala, has taken on a new role. On Tuesday, he assumed his duties as minister of state for petroleum and natural gas, in addition to his responsibilities in the ministry of tourism. Union petroleum minister Hardeep Singh Puri greeted Gopi with a bouquet to mark the occasion. Later, the ministry of tourism office also welcomed him with a bouquet.
