Around 5,000 Kashmiri Pandits leave for Kheerbhawani Mela in Kashmir amid tight security

Over 5,000 individuals, primarily from the Kashmiri Pandit community, embarked on their journey for the annual Kheer Bhawani Mela in Kashmir, officials reported on Wednesday. This pilgrimage is being conducted under tight security. The four-day pilgrimage kicked off today. Divisional Commissioner (Jammu) Ramesh Kumar, Relief Commissioner Dr. Arvind Karwani, and notable Kashmiri Pandit leaders inaugurated the event from the Nagrota area.
