Committed to working together on key issues: Trudeau after PM Modi meet
PM Narendra Modi and his Canadian counterpart Justin Trudeau committed to working together on very important issues, said the Canadian politician after his first meeting with the Indian PM since he publicly alleged Indian govt’s involvement in the killing of Khalistan separatist Hardeep Singh Nijjar and sent ties into a tailspin. The leaders had met briefly on the margins of the G7 summit in Italy on Friday. This was confirmed by Modi himself when he posted a photo on X of the two chatting, while holding hands.
