Consensual relationship is not a licence to assault woman: HC

The High Court dismissed rape and cheating charges in a consensual relationship case. Justice Nagaprasanna cited the Supreme Court's principles in the Shambhu Karwar vs State of Uttar Pradesh case. The court allowed an investigation into assault, causing hurt, and criminal intimidation charges based on a wound certificate and multiple bruises on the complainant's body.
