Thane resident gets added to WA stock trade group, loses Rs 2 crore after high returns offer

A 70-year-old resident of Kolshet in Thane lost Rs 2 crore to a WhatsApp group investment stock fraud. The fraudsters posed as employees of a Chicago-based investment company, promising high returns. The victim fell for the scam after being added to the group and investing in fake opportunities.
