Built at cost of Rs 1,749 crore: PM Modi inaugurates new Nalanda University campus in Bihar

Prime Minister Narendra Modi officially opened the new campus of Nalanda University, situated in Rajgir, Bihar. The newly constructed campus will be located in close proximity to the ancient ruins of the original university. Prior to the inauguration ceremony, PM Modi took the opportunity to explore and observe the remnants of the historic Nalanda University. Established in the 5th century, Nalanda University was a renowned center of learning that attracted scholars from all over the world.
