Fortunately, no injuries were reported and airport operations were not affected. This incident follows a similar roof collapse at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport after record rainfall. The temporary terminal, still under construction, experienced a canopy failure due to water accumulation. RIA officials are conducting an inquiry and will submit a detailed report to the Airports Authority of India (AAI).
