'Trial court order will not be given effect': Delhi HC halts release of Arvind Kejriwal

Delhi high court on Friday put on hold chief minister Arvind Kejriwal's bail in the money laundering case. This decision awaits further hearings related to the now-scrapped excise policy case, for which the AAP convenor has been arrested. Arvind Kejriwal was granted bail by the Rouse Avenue Court on Thursday. The vacation judge Nyay Bindu of the Rouse Avenue Court granted bail to Arvind Kejriwal upon furnishing a bail bond of Rs 1 lakh.
