IMD issues yellow alert for thunderstorms and rain in Delhi on these dates

New Delhi experienced high humidity levels and a heat index of 53 degrees Celsius as the city saw very light rain. The maximum temperature rose to 40.4 degrees Celsius, above normal, while the IMD forecast predicts thunderstorms with very light rain and gusty winds over the next few days.
