Gangsters act case: Allahabad HC reserves verdict on MP Afzal Ansari's plea

The High Court reserved its decision on Ghazipur MP Afzal Ansari's appeal against his four-year sentence under the Gangsters Act for BJP MLA Krishnanand Rai's 2005 murder. Justice Sanjay Kumar Singh heard enhancement petitions. Ansari, a Samajwadi Party MP, risks losing Parliament membership following the MP-MLA court's ruling; he is currently out on bail.
