NEET-UG counselling deferred until further notice: Official sources
Saturday, 6 July 2024 The counselling process for the NEET-UG 2024, including the all-India quota (AIQ) seat allocation, which was scheduled to begin today, has been postponed indefinitely. The authorities have not provided a revised date for the commencement of the counselling. The decision to defer the counselling comes as the Supreme Court prepares to hold a crucial hearing regarding the NEET-UG controversy.
The U.S. Supreme Court has temporarily blocked the Trump administration’s attempt to fire whistleblower chief Hampton Dellinger. The Biden appointee will remain in his post at least until Feb. 26 as legal proceedings continue. Liberal justices opposed the firing, while conservative justices dissented, arguing the court overstepped. This marks the first Supreme Court challenge to Trump’s removals.
