Delhi HC refused passive euthanasia for a 30-year-old ex-Punjab University student in a vegetative state since 2013 due to diffuse axonal injury and 100% disability. Justice Subramonium Prasad noted he isnβt terminally ill or on life support. He suffers from infected bed sores. Aging parents sought a medical board. SC rulings against euthanasia cited; no recovery hope.
