Two soldiers die while undertaking critical repair work in Ladakh

On 11 July 2024, soldiers Sankara Rao Gottapu and Shahnawaz Ahmad Bhat died in Ladakh during critical military repair. Earlier, five soldiers ambushed in Katha, Jammu. CISF, CRPF, and police bolstered NH44 security for Amarnath pilgrims. Since June 9, Reasi, Kathua, and Doda saw terror strikes, injuring civilians and security personnel. The Indian Army expressed heartfelt condolences.
