Maharashtra firm fined Rs 1 lakh for 'spiking' protein powder & false claims

Big Muscles Nutrition Pvt Ltd must pay Rahul Shekhawat Rs 1.1 lakh for buying a Rs 1,599 protein powder with harmful ingredients, also reimbursing him Rs 36,409 for lab tests. The powder contained misleading claims, protein-spiking, high sugar, and carbohydrates, causing headaches, acne, bloating, nausea, diarrhoea, and risks of heart issues or liver damage.
