Chennai to Mysuru, via Bengaluru: High-speed rail to have 2 IT corridor stops

The 463-km Chennai-Bengaluru-Mysuru high-speed rail corridor includes stops at Whitefield and Electronics City, 11 stations, and impacts 313 towns. Greenfield areas are involved, with 13,715 trees to be felled. Compensation follows specific land laws. Phase I (Chennai-Bengaluru) and Phase II (Bengaluru-Mysuru) are coordinated by National High-Speed Rail Corporation and discussed in Kolar.
