Mumbai based engineer leaps off Atal Setu, hunt on for body

A 38-year-old Dombivli engineer, K Shriniwas, allegedly died by jumping off Atal Setu due to financial stress. Shriniwas left his residence at night and spoke to his family before taking the extreme step. Navi Mumbai police launched a search operation with the help of rescue teams. He had previously attempted suicide in 2023 in Kuwait.
