Thursday, 25 July 2024
Shopkeepers and local residents at the Taj Mahal complex in Agra were taken by surprise at the sight of a handcuffed man "walking around" with police personnel from Haryana near the high security monument. Their white police jeep was parked 500m away and securitymen at the barrier asked the Haryana policemen to leave their weapons behind. They then tried to enter the Taj with the "man in chains", but were stopped by ASI staff.
