India's 1st agri-export unit to come up at Mumbai's Jawaharlal Nehru Port

India will establish its first integrated agri-export facility at Jawaharlal Nehru Port in Mumbai. The Rs 284 crore PPP project aims to revolutionize agricultural logistics, reduce wastage, and extend shelf life. Expected benefits include better prices for agricultural goods, job creation, and rural development. The facility will support exporters and significantly increase storage capacity for various agri-products.
