Harassed by drug-addict son, Kerala couple 'end lives by setting car on fire'

A couple in their sixties allegedly took their own lives by setting their car ablaze in Kerala's Pathanamthitta district. They left a note mentioning mental trauma and harassment from their son, who is in a de-addiction centre. The incident was discovered around 1.30pm in Thiruvalla by a police patrol vehicle. The couple had earlier transferred their property to their son but continued to face issues. The bodies are now at Kottayam Govt Medical College Hospital for further investigation.
