Wayanad landslide horror: Midnight run uphill into forest helps beat death

Muhammed Basil, a software engineer, and his parents narrowly escaped a devastating landslide in Mundakkai by fleeing to nearby hills. As their home was destroyed, they spent hours in the forest before finding refuge at a resort. Nearly 30 of their relatives and neighbors perished in the tragedy. The family now stays in a relief camp.
