Wayanad landslide: ICCS to study reasons, submit policy recommendation to Kerala govt

Chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan announced that the Institute of Climate Change Studies in Kottayam would investigate the causes of recent landslides in Wayanad. The Institute will also suggest policies to mitigate such disasters. State government aims to enhance disaster warning systems and develop localized forecasting tools to better anticipate and manage natural calamities in Kerala.
