Wayanad locals praised Prajeesh for his bravery in rescuing several individuals from landslides in Mundakkai and Chooralmala. Prajeesh made multiple trips uphill, saving many lives, but went missing after being trapped in a subsequent landslide on his third attempt. His efforts are remembered fondly by the community.
