Honour killing: 25-year-old man shot dead by wife’s brother over inter-caste marriage in Rajasthan's Jhunjhunu district

In an incident of alleged honour killing in Jhunjhunu district, Ankit Jat was killed and his hand severed by his brother-in-law Rinku Rajput and his associates. The couple had married in an inter-caste ceremony seven months ago, despite threats. Ankit's family had sought police protection, but the attackers were undeterred.
