BSF steps up vigil as Bangladesh minorities flee to Tripura border

The BSF intensified its surveillance on the Tripura border amid rising attempts by minority communities and Awami League supporters from Bangladesh to cross over due to recent unrest. Houses and properties of over 17,000 families were destroyed, and around one lakh people fled. The BSF has alerted local authorities and coordinated with the Border Guard Bangladesh for security measures.
