Strong tremors were felt across the capital and surrounding areas, prompting residents to rush outdoors. Prime Minister Modi urged people to stay alert for aftershocks. The National Center for Seismology confirmed the quake occurred at a depth of five kilometres. Emergency services are on standby, and Delhi Police shared helpline details for assistance. Reports indicate a loud sound accompanied the tremors, adding to the panic in high-rise buildings across Noida and Ghaziabad.
