Rajasthan Congress will not field any candidate for Rajya Sabha elections

IndiaTimes Saturday, 17 August 2024 ()
The Rajasthan Congress chose not to field a candidate for the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections, citing a significant seat deficit against the BJP. The BJP, with 114 seats in the 200-member assembly, holds a clear majority over the Congress's 66 seats. This has led the Congress to refrain from contesting the elections scheduled for September 3.
