Convert doesn’t lose inheritance: Ahmedabad court

A city court in Ahmedabad dismissed a suit filed by Kamal Sathwara, who sought to disinherit his Muslim brother Julesh alias Junaid from their parents' property, claiming he had converted to Islam and was disowned by their parents. The court ruled that conversion alone does not disqualify someone from inheritance, thus upholding Junaid's rights.
