Gujarat assembly passes bill to stop human sacrifice

The Gujarat assembly passed the 'Gujarat Prevention and Eradication of Human Sacrifice and other Inhuman, Evil and Aghori Practices and Black Magic Bill, 2024' to protect people from fraudulent practices claiming supernatural powers. Violators will face a jail term of six months to seven years and fines ranging from Rs 5,000 to Rs 50,000.
