Gold mine found in Odisha’s Deogarh, state to auction it

The Geological Survey of India discovered gold in Adas Rampalli, Deogarh district, Odisha. This will be the first gold mine auctioned by the Odisha government, according to state steel and mines minister Bibhuti Jena. The gold was found during a copper exploration, with initial indicators in Keonjhar district during surveys in the early 1980s and 1990s.
