UP doctor, who converted to Hinduism, held

The Ghaziabad Police have detained Dr. Abdur Rahman, 42, accusing him of converting to Hinduism to deceive his wife, Harsha Sarangi. Married six years ago, Rahman is charged under the Uttar Pradesh Prohibition of Unlawful Conversion of Religion Act, 2021. Additionally, he is accused of causing burn injuries to Sarangi, claiming they occurred accidentally.
